What is Thermal Imaging?

Thermal Imaging utilises an infrared camera to detect heat.

The cameras are pointed over electrical switchboards and the components are monitored for temperature. When current flows through circuits, a part of the electrical energy is converted into heat energy. Some heat energy is normal however excess heat indicates an issue with the circuits, loose connections, or damaged wiring.
